Welcome to our website!  You may ask, "Why Bananas?" - Bananas first owner was a banana grower in central Florida; hence receiving the name “Bananas”. When Captain Bob purchased her he felt it would be inappropriate to change her name as she had developed a legacy for winning races over the years. Bananas is well known up and down the Florida Coast providing Captain Bob the opportunity to meet many sailors who recognize her.
